Please support SIM Detroit on April 22, 2026 at the Michigan Technology Leaders Summit at One Campus Martius. As the premier gathering for Metro Detroit’s technology leaders, this summit provides a unique forum to network, share insights, gain visibility from the region’s top executives, and help chart the future of our industry. But our vision extends beyond networking and technology.
We believe that leadership is about service. Unlike standard industry conferences, the Michigan Technology Leaders Summit is a non-profit endeavor. Every dollar of profit is reinvested into SIM Detroit’s charitable initiatives, including STEM scholarships and community development programs. Legends Award
On April 10th ,2025 we awarded our SIM Detroit Legends Award to Jef Fisk. This award in intended to highlight an outstanding person whose service to their community and their field deserves esteemed recognition. Jef Fisk is a long-standing member of SIM Detroit and a past president. Now retired, he served as CIO for Kiaser Aluminum and the Third Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan. Jef also worked in IT at Davis Industries and Federal-Mogal. Along the way Jef did more than IT. Jef worked as an Adjunct Professor at Lawrence Tech, currently has a business that does video productions and is a singer and song writer. Anyone who has spent any time at SIM Events has been lucky enough to get to hear his musical talents. Jef is also the currently the SIM Detroit VP of Special Events and is the driving force behind the Summits that SIM Detroit is able provide to the community. Jef, Thanks for all you do!!!
